NORMAL, Ill. (Interstat) — Illinois State dominated Indiana State 105-64 in a Missouri Valley Conference women’s basketball game Monday night at Redbird Arena.

The Redbirds seized control with a 32-point second quarter, building a 56-28 halftime lead over the Sycamores. Illinois State never relented, outscoring Indiana State in every quarter before an announced crowd of 1,622. The victory improved Illinois State’s season record to 6-6, while Indiana State fell to 4-8. The teams will meet again in Terre Haute on Jan. 25.
