HACKENSACK, N.J. (Interstat) — Kendall Bennett scored 21 points to lead Binghamton to a 62-51 comeback victory over Fairleigh Dickinson in nonconference women’s basketball Monday afternoon at Rothman Center.

The Bearcats, who trailed 20-8 after the first quarter, seized control with a dominant 22-7 second quarter. Bennett, a 6-foot-2 forward from Philadelphia, played 30 minutes and anchored the surge. Meghan Casey added eight points for Binghamton.

The Knights were led by Kailee McDonald’s 11 points. Fairleigh Dickinson’s early 12-point lead evaporated amid scoring droughts.

Both teams are now 8-4 this season. Binghamton outscored Fairleigh Dickinson 34-24 in the paint.
