Tribe Holds Off Late Rally, Edges Tigers in Colonial Clash

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Interstat) — William & Mary survived a furious fourth-quarter rally to defeat Towson 75-70 in a Colonial Athletic Association women’s basketball game Sunday at Kaplan Arena.

The Tribe built a 17-point halftime lead, powered by a 26-point second quarter. The Tigers mounted a comeback, outscoring William & Mary 29-14 in the final period, but fell short. The win avenged a one-point loss at Towson just over a week prior.

William & Mary improved to 13-10 overall. Towson dropped to 14-11. Attendance was 1,439.
