Colorado State Women Outlast Nevada in Mountain West Matchup

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Interstat) — The Colorado State women’s basketball team used a dominant third quarter to pull away from Nevada for a 70-59 victory on Wednesday night at Moby Arena.

The Rams, improving to 20-7, broke open a close game by outscoring the Wolf Pack 20-5 in the third period. Nevada had led 32-33 at halftime but could not recover from the quarter’s offensive drought.

Madelyn Bragg and Kloe Froebe each scored 17 points to lead Colorado State. Maia Rosarion scored 16 points for Nevada, which fell to 8-18. The Rams shot 44.1% from the field and made 13 of 15 free throws, while Nevada struggled from three-point range, making only 2 of 15 attempts.
