FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. (Interstat) — Lily Fandre scored 21 points and Whitney Lind added 20 to lead Lehigh to a 75-64 women’s basketball victory over Navy on Wednesday night at Stabler Arena.

The Mountain Hawks used a 21-point second quarter to build a 40-30 halftime lead and never trailed in the second half. The Midshipmen closed within six points in the fourth quarter but could not complete the comeback.

Fandre and Lind combined for 41 points for Lehigh, which improved to 14-11 overall. Zanai Barnett-Gay led Navy with 14 points and six assists. The Midshipmen fell to 18-7.

Lehigh capitalized on Navy’s mistakes, scoring 21 points off turnovers. Navy held a 42-32 advantage in points in the paint but shot poorly from the perimeter.
