WEST POINT, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Army women’s basketball team defeated Loyola Maryland 61-48 in a Patriot League game Wednesday night at Christl Arena.

The Black Knights used a decisive third quarter to pull away. After leading 32-25 at halftime, Army outscored the Greyhounds 22-15 in the period to secure the victory. Loyola Maryland struggled offensively, scoring only eight points in both the first and fourth quarters.

Army improved to 21-5 overall. Loyola Maryland fell to 11-15. An announced crowd of 678 attended the game.
