NEW YORK (Interstat) — Mackenzie Blackford scored 23 points as Duquesne defeated Fordham 80-67 in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball game Saturday at Rose Hill Gym.

The Dukes used a decisive 29-point third quarter to pull away after a 34-34 halftime tie. Blackford added five rebounds and two assists for Duquesne, which improved to 9-16. Raevin Washington posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Lakresha Edwards led Fordham with 24 points. The Rams shot 11 for 22 from 3-point range but were outscored 26-12 in the paint and committed 15 turnovers, falling to 10-16.
