WESTCHESTER, Fla. (Interstat) — Haley Walker scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds Saturday to lift Florida Atlantic to a 60-57 women’s basketball victory over Florida International at Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

The Owls, who trailed by four at halftime, used a 25-point fourth quarter to secure the win and avenge a loss to the Golden Panthers from five days prior. Parris Atkins led all scorers with 21 points for Florida International in the defeat.

Walker’s performance keyed the comeback for Florida Atlantic, which improved to 6-6. Florida International, which was a heavy statistical favorite pregame, fell to 6-4. Attendance was 128.
