PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Eastern Washington Eagles, coming off a dramatic road victory, visit the Portland Pilots in a nonconference women’s basketball game Sunday at Chiles Center.

Both teams enter with 3-3 records after securing wins against a common opponent, Nevada. Eastern Washington (3-3) edged the Wolf Pack 58-57 on Friday behind 15 points each from Kourtney Grossman and Ella Gallatin, who also added three assists. The Eagles have split their last four games.

Portland (3-4) defeated Nevada 65-52 at home on Saturday. The Pilots have struggled to find consistency, alternating wins and losses over their past five contests.

The game will be a final tune-up before both teams break for exams. Eastern Washington begins a two-game homestand against Denver on Wednesday, while Portland’s next contest is at home against BYU on Dec. 6.
