Montana State Uses Dominant Third Quarter to Defeat Northern Colorado

BOZEMAN, Mont. (Interstat) — The Montana State women’s basketball team used a decisive 32-point third quarter to pull away from Northern Colorado and secure a 71-57 Big Sky Conference victory Monday at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

The Bobcats, now 13-4, led 33-25 at halftime before their explosive period extended the advantage. The Bears, who fell to 14-6, could not recover despite a 22-point third quarter of their own. Montana State’s defense then held Northern Colorado to just 10 points in the final frame.

Addison Harris led Montana State’s effort. Aniah Hall was the key performer for Northern Colorado. Attendance was 1,671. The result avenged a Bobcats loss to the Bears earlier this month.
