Preview: Grand Canyon Antelopes at Air Force Falcons
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (Interstat) — Two teams riding winning streaks will meet Saturday when the Air Force Falcons host the Grand Canyon Antelopes in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game at Clune Arena.
Grand Canyon (9-14) has won three straight, including a 57-44 victory over San Diego State on Wednesday. The Antelopes have found a rhythm in conference play, winning five of their last seven games after a difficult start to the season.
Air Force (10-12) has won its last two contests, most recently a commanding 73-50 win over Utah State on Wednesday. The Falcons will look to protect their home court, where they are 6-4 this season.
The matchup features two of the conference’s top performers. Grand Canyon is led by guard Chloe Mann, who is averaging 13.0 points and 4.1 assists over the last eight games. She scored a team-high 18 points in Wednesday’s win. Air Force counters with guard Emily Adams, who is coming off a career-high 23-point performance against Utah State. Adams has averaged 16.0 points over her last three games, providing a consistent scoring punch for the Falcons.
Grand Canyon’s recent surge has been fueled by defense, holding opponents to an average of 52.7 points during its three-game streak. Air Force’s offense exploded for 73 points in its last outing after being held under 65 in its previous five games.
This contest is the only scheduled meeting between the programs this season. Following this game, Grand Canyon travels to face UNLV on Feb. 14, while Air Force visits Nevada on Feb. 11.
Tipoff is set for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at the Air Force Academy.
