BYU at Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. (Interstat) — A BYU women’s basketball team seeking to regain its footing will visit a Kansas State squad looking to claw back to .500 in a Big 12 Conference matchup Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum.

The Cougars (17-7, 7-6 Big 12) have dropped three of their last four games, including an 81-60 loss at Kansas on Wednesday. They are 3-5 on the road in conference play. The Wildcats (12-12, 5-8) have also struggled for consistency, alternating wins and losses over their last six contests following a 72-62 defeat at Arizona on Wednesday.

BYU’s offense will lean on guard Brinley Cannon, who is coming off a 13-point performance against Kansas and erupted for 21 points in a win over Utah on Jan. 31. Her scoring punch will be vital for a Cougars team that has been held under 70 points in four of its last five outings.

Kansas State counters with guard Tess Heal, a consistent offensive engine who played all 40 minutes and scored 18 points in the loss to Arizona. Heal has topped double-figure scoring in seven consecutive games, including a 25-point outing against Utah on Jan. 10.

The Wildcats won the first meeting this season, 79-72, in Provo on Dec. 31, 2025. Heal led Kansas State with 24 points in that victory, while Cannon was held to four points for BYU.

For Kansas State, a win would even its overall record and provide momentum before a tough stretch that includes games against Kansas and Baylor. BYU, meanwhile, aims to stabilize its postseason résumé and avoid a season sweep by the Wildcats.

The game tips off at 2 p.m. CST Saturday as part of the Big 12 conference schedule.
