GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Interstat) — The Oral Roberts women’s basketball team used a dominant third quarter to defeat North Dakota 89-80 in a Summit League game Thursday night at Engelstad Arena.

The Golden Eagles, who trailed by six after the first quarter, outscored the Fighting Hawks 31-23 in the third period to seize control before an announced crowd of 1,488. Gentry Baldwin led Oral Roberts with 25 points and five assists. Mackenzie Hughes scored 24 points for North Dakota in the loss.

With the victory, Oral Roberts improved to 12-9 overall. North Dakota fell to 4-17.
