BATON ROUGE, La. (Interstat) — The LSU women’s basketball team delivered a dominant 89-60 victory over Florida on Monday night at a packed Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers improved to 18-2 overall behind a balanced offensive attack and stifling defense. Jada Richard led all scorers with 20 points for LSU, which seized control with a 27-point third quarter after leading 36-29 at halftime. MiLaysia Fulwiley added 15 points and three blocks.

The Gators (13-9) were led by Liv McGill’s 14 points but struggled with efficiency, shooting just 36.8% from the field. LSU capitalized on second chances, outrebounding Florida 18-8 on the offensive glass.

A crowd of 9,793 watched the Tigers win their third straight Southeastern Conference game.
