Lafayette at NJIT
NEWARK, N.J. (Interstat) — The NJIT Highlanders, looking to rebound from a lopsided loss, will host the surging Lafayette Leopards in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at Fleisher Athletic Center.
NJIT (6-2) saw a four-game winning streak snapped in a 71-43 home loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday. The Highlanders’ offense, which averaged 68.8 points during their recent run, was held to a season low. Allison Cannon, Avery O’Roke and Marissa Gingrich were the team’s most productive players in the defeat.
Lafayette (4-3) enters on a three-game winning streak, including a decisive 76-59 road victory at Pittsburgh on Tuesday. The Leopards’ offense was fueled by a trio of scorers: Talia Zurinskas (18 points, 7 assists), Haylie Adamski (19 points) and Teresa Kiewiet (19 points).
The game pits NJIT’s strong start against Lafayette’s recent momentum. The Highlanders will look to re-establish their home-court advantage, while the Leopards aim to continue their winning ways on the road.
Tipoff is set for Sunday afternoon.
