DE WITT, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Cornell Big Red visit the Le Moyne Dolphins on Saturday in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup between two teams seeking to get back in the win column.

The game will tip off at 2 p.m. at Ted Grant Court.

Cornell (2-3) looks to rebound from a 60-54 home loss to Colgate on Tuesday. Emily Pape and Paige Engels each scored 18 points in the defeat for the Big Red, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Le Moyne (1-3) is coming off an 87-65 road loss to Pittsburgh on the same night. Sierra Linnin led the Dolphins with 17 points, while Eli Clark added 14 points and five assists.

Both teams have faced challenging early schedules. Cornell’s three losses have come by a combined 14 points, while Le Moyne’s three defeats have been by an average of 31.3 points, including a 99-43 loss at Baylor.

The Dolphins secured their lone victory in overtime against Lafayette, 82-79, on Nov. 9.

Following this contest, Cornell will host Siena on Nov. 26, while Le Moyne travels to face Bucknell on Nov. 25.
