Evansville at Wright State

FAIRBORN, Ohio (Interstat) — The Wright State Raiders will look to build on their high-scoring momentum when they host the struggling Evansville Purple Aces in a non-conference women’s basketball game Sunday at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.

Wright State (2-1) is coming off a dominant 122-47 victory over Wilberforce on Wednesday, where Ellie Magestro-Kennedy and Rylee Sagester each scored 17 points. Olivia Brown orchestrated the offense with 12 assists. The Raiders’ only loss came on the road against Butler.

Evansville (0-3) seeks its first win after falling 83-60 at Eastern Kentucky in its last outing. Avery Kelley led the Purple Aces with 15 points in that contest. The team has faced a tough early schedule, including a lopsided loss to Iowa.

The matchup pits a potent Wright State offense against an Evansville team that has struggled defensively, setting the stage for a challenging road test for the Purple Aces.

Following this game, Wright State will host Bellarmine on Wednesday. Evansville returns home to face IU Indy on the same night.
