COLUMBIA, Mo. (Interstat) — Cotie McMahon scored 33 points to lead Mississippi to an 82-61 victory over Missouri in a Southeastern Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night at Mizzou Arena.

The Rebels (17-4) pulled away with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring the Tigers 33-22 in the period. McMahon added five assists and two blocks. Sira Thienou scored 17 points for Mississippi, and Latasha Lattimore added 10 points and four blocks.

Grace Slaughter led Missouri (13-9) with 21 points. Shannon Dowell scored 15.

Mississippi shot 50.8% from the field and held Missouri to 34.4% shooting. The Rebels also forced 14 turnovers while committing 13. Attendance was 2,862.
