DURHAM, N.C. (Interstat) — Taina Mair scored 23 points to lead Duke to an 82-68 women’s basketball victory over Notre Dame on Sunday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Blue Devils (9-6, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) used a 26-point first quarter to build an early lead and never trailed. Hannah Hidalgo led the Fighting Irish (10-4, 1-1) with 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Duke’s Toby Fournier added 20 points and seven rebounds, while Delaney Thomas had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Duke maintained a double-digit advantage for most of the second half. Attendance was 4,244.
