JACKSON, Miss. (Interstat) — Two teams coming off dominant, season-opening victories will meet Friday when the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles visit the Jackson State Lady Tigers in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup.
The game at Lee Williams Athletic Center pits a pair of 1-0 squads looking to build early momentum.
Tennessee Tech opened its season with a 92-67 home win over Cumberlands on Monday. Reghan Grimes led the way, pouring in 24 points in just 25 minutes of action. Chloe Larry added 17 points, while LaReesha Cawthorn controlled the glass with nine rebounds.
