GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Florida Gators (4-1) will host the Florida State Seminoles (3-2) in a women’s non-conference basketball matchup on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at the O’Connell Center.

Both teams are looking to rebound from their first losses of the season. The Gators are coming off a 69-54 road defeat to Navy on Sunday. Laila Reynolds led Florida in that contest, scoring 19 points and dishing five assists in 40 minutes of play. Me’Arah O’Neal added 14 points and six rebounds.

The Seminoles fell 76-72 to Indiana on the same day. Sydney Bowles scored a team-high 19 points for Florida State in the loss, while Pania Davis contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

Florida has dominated its home schedule thus far, winning all four of its games in Gainesville by an average margin of 44.5 points. Florida State, meanwhile, is 2-1 on the road, with a 67-99 loss at Connecticut on Nov. 9.

The intrastate rivalry tips off a challenging stretch for both programs. Following this game, Florida will travel to face Florida Atlantic, while Florida State returns home to host Illinois.
