KENNESAW, Ga. (Interstat) — The Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters edged Kennesaw State 63-59 in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Saturday at KSU Convocation Center.

Louisiana Tech used a strong second quarter to build a lead and survived a late push from the Owls. The Lady Techsters led 37-30 at halftime after outscoring Kennesaw State 21-12 in the second period. The Owls closed the gap in the third but could not complete the comeback.

Paris Bradley and Jianna Morris each scored 14 points for Louisiana Tech. Latazia Williamson led Kennesaw State with 13 points and eight rebounds. The Lady Techsters improved to 21-5, while the Owls fell to 11-14. Attendance was 835.
