COMMERCE, Texas (Interstat) — Reza Po scored 33 points to propel Texas A&M-Commerce to a 90-73 victory over New Orleans in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Thursday night at Texas A&M-Commerce Field House.

The Lions built a commanding 50-35 halftime lead and never trailed. Po, a 5-foot-2 guard from San Bruno, California, was efficient throughout, adding two assists in 33 minutes. Lauren Banks led the Privateers with 22 points, and Brialle Washington added 19.

Texas A&M-Commerce improved to 8-10 overall. New Orleans, which got a game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter during extended garbage time, fell to 1-19. An announced crowd of 306 watched the Southland Conference contest.
