NEWTON, Mass. (Interstat) — North Carolina delivered a commanding 90-39 road victory over Boston College in Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball on Monday night at Silvio O. Conte Forum.

The Tar Heels seized control with a 26-point second quarter, building a 46-18 halftime lead and never relenting. The Eagles managed only five points in that decisive period and struggled offensively throughout.

North Carolina improved to 12-3 overall. Boston College fell to 4-11. An announced crowd of 1,213 watched the conference opener for both teams.
