Purdue at Central Michigan
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (Interstat) — Two teams with identical 4-2 records will meet Sunday when the Purdue Boilermakers visit the Central Michigan Chippewas at McGuirk Arena.
Purdue enters the contest riding high after a dominant 92-62 victory over Howard on Wednesday. The Boilermakers’ frontcourt was formidable, with Lana McCarthy posting a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Tara Daye added 15 points and 13 boards. The win showcased Purdue’s offensive firepower after a 35-point outing in a loss to Kentucky on Nov. 18 highlighted its inconsistency.
Central Michigan looks to rebound from a tough 83-51 road loss to Notre Dame on Monday. Madi Morson led the Chippewas with 15 points in that contest. Prior to the defeat, Central Michigan had won three straight, including a 68-59 victory at Butler.
The game presents a contrast in schedules. Purdue has played four of its first six games at home, while Central Michigan has played four of six on the road. Both teams will face a quick turnaround, with Purdue hosting Evansville and Central Michigan visiting Michigan on Wednesday.
Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
