Long Island at South Florida
TAMPA, Fla. (Interstat) — Two teams coming off dominant opening-night victories, the Long Island Sharks and South Florida Bulls, will put their early perfect records on the line Friday at the Sun Dome.
The Sharks (1-0) opened their season with a 75-60 road win at Northeastern on Monday. Kadidia Toure led the way, pouring in 26 points in just 26 minutes of action. Laura Molnárová added 12 points.
South Florida (1-0) was equally impressive in its debut, routing Florida International 81-56. The Bulls’ offense was fueled by a balanced attack, with L’or Mputu scoring 20 points, Fatou Diakite adding 10 and Edyn Battle contributing 17 points and three assists.
Friday’s contest begins a challenging stretch for the Bulls, who will soon face power-conference opponents UCLA and Duke. For the Sharks, the game is a standalone major-conference test before a run of games against mid-major opponents.
Tipoff is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.
