WAYNE, N.J. (Interstat) — In a stunning reversal of their season series and a major upset in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, The College of New Jersey women’s basketball team dominated from start to finish to defeat William Paterson 78-55 on Sunday at the Sports and Recreation Center. The Lions, who had lost both regular-season meetings to the Pioneers by an average of 12 points, flipped the script entirely. They led wire-to-wire, holding William Paterson, one of the conference’s top teams with a 25-2 record entering the game, to a season-low in points.
