(Interstat) — In a defensive struggle between two teams seeking to escape the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference cellar, Saint Olaf used a fast start and a dominant performance from guard Joy Brandenstein to secure a 62-52 women’s basketball victory over crosstown rival Carleton on Saturday at Skoglund Center.
