SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Interstat) — The Sioux Falls women’s basketball team defeated crosstown rival Augustana 83-73 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game Saturday at the Elmen Center.

Krista Langager led the Cougars with 18 points and nine rebounds. Anna Vaaler scored a game-high 23 points for Sioux Falls, while Brooklyn Harpe added 17. The Cougars dominated inside, scoring 40 points in the paint.

Miranda Lomax paced the Vikings with 21 points. Isabella Sanneh recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Augustana.

The victory improved Sioux Falls to 13-15 overall. Augustana fell to 9-19.
