(Interstat) — In a defensive struggle defined by missed shots and turnovers, the Fort Lewis women’s basketball team edged Colorado State-Pueblo 53-49 in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contest Thursday night at Massari Arena. The Skyhawks, who led for nearly the entire game, survived a second-half surge by the ThunderWolves and a frigid shooting performance from beyond the arc to secure the road victory.
