MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (Interstat) — Drake Maye threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another as the New England Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins 24-19 on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for the Patriots, who improved to 5-3. Malik Willis completed 21 of 32 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns for Miami, which fell to 1-6. New England’s Kevin Byard intercepted a pass, and Christian Elliss and Carlton Davis III each made nine tackles. Gabe Jacas and Cory Durden each recorded 1.5 sacks. Marcus Jones had three punt returns for 35 yards and five tackles. For Miami, Jordyn Brooks had 11 tackles, Jacob Rodriguez added eight, and Zach Sieler and Michael Taaffe each made six. Ollie Gordon II rushed 19 times for 69 yards. Kevin Coleman Jr. had three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown, while Malik Washington had five catches for 40 yards and a score.
