Geno Smith completed 19 of 24 passes for 215 yards, and Breece Hall rushed 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown. Kenyon Sadiq scored on a 3-yard run and caught three passes for 21 yards. Garrett Wilson had six receptions for 79 yards. Jason Sanders made field goals of 33, 51 and 52 yards. Tennessee’s Cam Ward completed 19 of 32 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown and ran four times for 21 yards. Elic Ayomanor caught an 11-yard touchdown, and Joey Slye made a 42-yard field goal. David Bailey recorded four tackles and one sack for the Jets. Attendance at Nissan Stadium was 64,336. The Jets led throughout after Sadiq’s first-quarter touchdown and sealed the win with Sanders’ late kicks. The Jets improved to 1-0, while the Titans dropped to 0-1.
