SEATTLE (Interstat) — The Seattle Seahawks delivered a decisive 41-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in an NFC playoff game Saturday at Lumen Field, advancing before a crowd of 68,579.

Seattle seized control immediately, scoring 17 first-quarter points highlighted by a 95-yard opening kickoff return touchdown. The Seahawks’ defense stifled San Francisco, allowing only two second-quarter field goals. Running back Kenneth Walker III powered the offense with three rushing touchdowns.

Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold efficiently managed the game, throwing one touchdown pass. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was held to 140 passing yards. The loss ends San Francisco’s season at 13-6, while Seattle improved to 15-3 and moves on in the postseason.
