Bears Edge Packers in Overtime Thriller at Soldier Field

CHICAGO (Interstat) — Caleb Williams connected with DJ Moore on a 46-yard touchdown pass in overtime, lifting the Chicago Bears to a 22-16 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Soldier Field. The Packers led 16-0 in the second quarter and 16-6 late in the fourth before Chicago mounted a comeback before an announced crowd of 60,152.

Williams, who threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, engineered a game-tying drive in the final two minutes of regulation. His 6-yard scoring pass to Jahdae Walker and subsequent extra point with 24 seconds left forced overtime. Green Bay’s offense, led by Malik Willis and Jordan Love at quarterback, stalled after building its early lead on three Brandon McManus field goals and a 33-yard touchdown pass from Willis to Romeo Doubs. The Bears improved to 11-4-1, while the Packers fell to 9-5-1.
