L.A. Rams at Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Interstat) — The surging Los Angeles Rams, riding a four-game winning streak, will face the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday in a late-season NFC clash.

The Rams (9-2) enter with one of the league’s best records after a dominant 34-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was efficient, completing 25 of 35 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns. The win continued a stretch where Los Angeles has outscored its opponents 131-62 over the past month.

Carolina (6-6) looks to rebound after a 20-9 road loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The Panthers have been inconsistent, mixing impressive wins against Dallas and Miami with lopsided losses to Buffalo and New England. Quarterback Bryce Young accounted for the team’s only touchdown in the loss to the 49ers, adding 15 rushing yards to his 169 through the air.

Despite the disparity in records, the Panthers have been installed as a 10-point favorite by oddsmakers, with an over/under of 44.5 points. A projection from Interstat forecasts a 30-24 Carolina victory.

The game will be a test of momentum against a puzzling statistical favorite as the Rams aim to solidify their playoff positioning while the Panthers fight to stay in the hunt.
