Hurts, Eagles Soar Past Vikings in Methodical Road Victory
MINNEAPOLIS (Interstat) — Jalen Hurts passed for 326 yards and three touchdowns as the Philadelphia Eagles built a steady lead and held off the Minnesota Vikings 28-22 on Sunday at a sold-out U.S. Bank Stadium. Hurts was efficient, completing 19 of 23 passes, with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each eclipsing 120 receiving yards. The Eagles scored a touchdown in every quarter. Vikings kicker Will Reichard made five field goals, but Minnesota’s offense, led by Carson Wentz’s 313 passing yards, could not find the end zone until a late fourth-quarter touchdown and two-point conversion. The Eagles improved to 5-2, while the Vikings fell to an even 3-3.
