Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Interstat) — The Philadelphia Eagles look to rebound from their first loss when they visit the struggling New York Giants in an NFC East matchup on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at MetLife Stadium.

Philadelphia (4-1) enters the divisional contest after a 21-17 home loss to Denver last Sunday, which snapped a four-game winning streak to open the season. Quarterback Jalen Hurts passed for 280 yards and two touchdowns while adding another score on the ground in the defeat.

The Giants (1-4) are looking to halt a three-game skid after falling 26-14 at New Orleans. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who ran for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, will face an Eagles defense that has been a strength, led by linebackers Za’Darius Smith and Joshua Uche.

Despite the disparity in records, the Giants have been installed as a 6.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is 40.5 points. A projection from Interstat simulates a 27-20 victory for New York.

The game is the first of two meetings between the rivals this season, with a rematch scheduled in Philadelphia on Oct. 26.
