FUKUOKA (Interstat) — Yugo Maeda struck out nine over seven innings and SoftBank hit three home runs as the Hawks beat the Lotte Marines 11-1 on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka. Maeda allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk while improving to 12-0. Shuta Ishikawa took the loss, falling to 0-1. Tomoya Masaki went 4 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs. Yuki Yanagita and Hotaka Yamakawa each homered and drove in two runs. The Hawks broke the game open with seven runs and added three more later. Ryoya Kurihara had two hits and two RBIs, Hikaru Kawase drove in two, and Kensuke Kondoh had three hits and one RBI. Lotte scored once in the first on Kyota Fujiwara’s groundout. SoftBank finished with 18 hits to Lotte’s seven. Attendance was 39,239 and the game took 2 hours, 47 minutes. SoftBank improved to 79-46-3, while Lotte dropped to 58-63-3. The teams meet again Saturday.
