NAGOYA, Japan (Interstat) — Haruto Takahashi threw a complete-game shutout, striking out 10 and allowing five hits, to lead the Hanshin Tigers to a 3-0 victory over the Chunichi Dragons on Sunday afternoon at Nagoya Dome.

The Tigers scored all their runs in the fifth inning. With two outs, Takumu Nakano doubled in a run before Shota Morishita followed with a two-run single.

Hiroto Takahashi took the loss for Chunichi, allowing three runs over five innings. The Dragons were swept in the three-game series before a crowd of 36,675. Hanshin improved to 11-4, while Chunichi fell to 3-11.
