(Interstat) — Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane each scored 25 points, and the Orlando Magic blew a 17-point fourth-quarter lead before rallying to beat the Detroit Pistons 113-105 on Saturday for a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference first-round series. Banchero added 12 rebounds and nine assists. Wendell Carter Jr. had 14 points and 17 rebounds. Cade Cunningham scored a game-high 27 points for Detroit, which trailed 96-79 with 8:34 left then outscored the Magic 26-8 over the next six minutes to take the lead. Tobias Harris scored 23 points and Ausar Thompson added 17 with five blocks. But Orlando regained control as Banchero hit a 3-pointer with 1:07 left and another with 38.8 seconds to play. Franz Wagner finished with 17 points for the Magic. Orlando made 15 of 33 from 3-point range, Detroit 11 of 32. The game drew 18,846 to Kia Center. The Pistons fell to 61-24 overall, while the Magic improved to 48-39.
