Orlando vs. Houston
HOUSTON (Interstat) — The surging Houston Rockets, winners of four of their last five, will host the inconsistent Orlando Magic at Toyota Center on Sunday in an interconference NBA matchup.
The Rockets (7-3) have been one of the league’s early surprises, powered by a high-scoring offense. They are coming off a dominant 135-112 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, where Kevin Durant led the way with 23 points. Rookie Reed Sheppard added 21 points and center Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Orlando (6-6) arrives in Houston after a strong 124-107 road win against the New York Knicks. Franz Wagner was the standout performer in that game, scoring 28 points and grabbing nine rebounds. The Magic have shown flashes of potential, including a win over Boston this month, but have struggled to find consistency, alternating wins and losses over their last six games.
The game will feature a compelling frontcourt battle between Orlando’s Wendell Carter and Houston’s Sengun. The Rockets will look to protect their home court, where they are 4-1 this season, while the Magic aim to even their road record, currently 3-3.
Tipoff is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025.
