Bey’s 42 Points Lead Pelicans Past Jazz in High-Scoring Road Victory
SALT LAKE CITY (Interstat) — Saddiq Bey scored 42 points to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 129-118 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday night at Delta Center. The Pelicans used a 41-point second quarter to seize control after a tight first period. Zion Williamson added 20 points for New Orleans, which has won three straight games. Ace Bailey scored 23 points and Brice Sensabaugh added 20 for the Jazz. Both teams shot efficiently, but the Pelicans’ 24-of-27 performance from the free-throw line proved decisive. The teams will meet again in Salt Lake City on Saturday.
