Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees

NEW YORK (Interstat) — The American League Division Series shifts back to Yankee Stadium on Wednesday for a pivotal Game 4, with the Toronto Blue Jays looking to close out the New York Yankees and advance.

First pitch is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, in the Bronx under cloudy skies with a game-time temperature of 72 degrees.

The Blue Jays seized control of the best-of-five series with a 13-7 rout of the Yankees on Sunday, powered by a combined eight RBIs from Daulton Varsho and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. That victory gave Toronto a 2-1 series lead after the teams split the opening two games in Toronto.

Toronto will hand the ball to right-hander Cam Schlittler (5-3) with a chance to send the club to the next round. The Yankees, facing elimination, have yet to announce their starting pitcher.

Both teams finished the regular season with 96 wins, though the Blue Jays (96-68) held a three-game edge over the Yankees (96-71) in the final standings. The season series was heavily tilted in Toronto’s favor, with the Blue Jays winning 11 of the 16 matchups, including seven of the last nine.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, a high-scoring affair is projected, with the Blue Jays edging the Yankees 8-7. If necessary, Game 5 would be Friday in Toronto.
