PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — The Milwaukee Brewers open a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at Citizens Bank Park. The forecast calls for 67 degrees at game time. Milwaukee is 98-58. Philadelphia is 86-70.

Milwaukee is scheduled to start Dustin May (7-9). Philadelphia is slated to counter with Zack Wheeler (13-5). The Brewers enter after a 3-0 win at Baltimore on Sept. 20. Jacob Misiorowski worked three innings, allowed one hit, struck out four and did not permit an earned run. Trevor Megill and DL Hall each followed with scoreless relief. Milwaukee also beat Baltimore 1-0 on Sept. 19 and 6-5 in 10 innings on Sept. 18. The Brewers won 5-4 at Pittsburgh on Sept. 16 and 5-1 on Sept. 15 before a 7-4 loss on Sept. 17. Milwaukee has won six of its past eight games.

Misiorowski has been a player to watch. Over his past four appearances, he has allowed three earned runs over 20 1/3 innings with 26 strikeouts. He struck out seven over five scoreless innings at Pittsburgh on Sept. 15 and nine over 6 1/3 innings against the Cubs on Sept. 8. He also worked six innings and allowed two earned runs at the New York Mets on Aug. 27.

Philadelphia defeated the Mets 7-2 on Sept. 20. Cristopher Sánchez worked 6 1/3 innings, allowed six hits and two earned runs while striking out six. Justin Crawford drove in three runs, and José Alvarado tossed a scoreless inning. The Phillies had lost 10-3 on Sept. 19 and 6-3 on Sept. 18 before that win. Philadelphia beat the Mets 3-0 on Sept. 17 and Washington 3-0 on Sept. 16 after a 6-3 loss on Sept. 15. The Phillies beat Atlanta 9-4 on Sept. 13 after losses of 12-2 on Sept. 12 and 6-5 in 11 innings on Sept. 11. They split with Houston, winning 11-7 on Sept. 9 and losing 2-1 on Sept. 10.

Sánchez has struck out 27 batters over his past five starts. He threw seven scoreless innings at the Los Angeles Angels on Aug. 29 and struck out eight. The teams last met in June at Milwaukee. The Brewers won 4-0 on June 14 and 6-0 on June 12. Philadelphia won 9-8 on June 13. After this series, Milwaukee hosts St. Louis from Sept. 25-27. Philadelphia hosts Tampa Bay from Sept. 25-27.
