BOSTON (Interstat) — The Cleveland Guardians will continue a late-season road stretch Tuesday night, Sept. 22, 2026, against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Cleveland is the visiting team, and Boston is the home club.

Cleveland enters at 81-75. Boston enters at 84-72. The Guardians are coming off a 1-0 home win against the Athletics on Sept. 20. Gavin Williams pitched seven innings, allowed three hits and no earned runs, walked one and struck out nine. Cade Smith and Hunter Gaddis also combined for two scoreless innings of relief.

Boston most recently lost 5-1 at Tampa Bay on Sept. 20. Patrick Sandoval worked seven innings, yielding four hits and five earned runs with two walks and five strikeouts.
