Cardinals rally past Rockies with three-run ninth inning

DENVER (Interstat) — Iván Herrera hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning Friday night, lifting the St. Louis Cardinals to a 7-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. The Cardinals trailed 6-4 entering the ninth after TJ Rumfield homered in the seventh for Colorado. Herrera’s blast scored Thomas Saggese and José Fermín to cap the comeback.
