CHICAGO (Interstat) — Alex Bregman hit three home runs and drove in four runs as the Chicago Cubs defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 17-3 on Monday at Wrigley Field. Clay Holmes pitched six scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out eight, to earn the win and improve to 6-6. Kyle Harrison took the loss for Milwaukee, falling to 10-4.
