NEW YORK (Interstat) — Jackson Chourio went 4 for 5 with two home runs and four RBIs, and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the New York Mets 8-2 on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at Citi Field.

Chourio hit a two-run homer in the second inning and a two-run shot in the eighth. Milwaukee scored two in the first, two in the second, single runs in the fifth and sixth, and two in the eighth. Andrew Vaughn, Gary Sánchez, William Contreras and Cooper Pratt also drove in runs. The Mets scored twice in the fifth on Jared Young’s RBI double and Christopher Morel’s RBI single.

Jacob Misiorowski (15-5) allowed two runs and two hits over six innings, striking out six. DL Hall, Antonio Senzatela and Chad Patrick combined for three scoreless innings of relief. Sean Manaea (4-6) gave up six runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings for the loss. Milwaukee finished with 12 hits; New York had three. David Hamilton and Joey Ortiz each added two hits for Milwaukee.

The Brewers improved to 84-51, while the Mets fell to 60-75. Attendance was 26,611, and the game lasted 2:50.
