Boston Red Sox at Seattle Mariners
SEATTLE (Interstat) — The Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners close out their three-game series Sunday evening at T-Mobile Park, with the Mariners looking to salvage a split after Boston took the opener 6-2 on Friday and Saturday’s game ended scoreless.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. PDT under partly cloudy skies, with temperatures around 72 degrees.
Boston (30-43) sends left-hander Payton Tolle (3-4) to the mound. The rookie has struggled to find consistency in his debut season. Seattle (39-38) counters with right-hander Logan Gilbert (5-4), who has been solid in the rotation.
The Mariners enter as betting favorites at -1.5 on the run line, with an over/under of 6.5. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-2 Seattle victory.
