Houston Astros at Baltimore Orioles

BALTIMORE (Interstat) — The Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles open a three-game series Tuesday night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with the Orioles installed as -1.5 favorites.

First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. EDT under clear skies and 67 degrees.

Houston (11-18) is coming off a 7-4 win Sunday against the New York Yankees that snapped a three-game skid. The Astros have not confirmed their starter for Tuesday, though right-handers Shane Baz (0-2) and Kai-Wei Teng (1-1) are both listed on the probable pitcher report.

Baltimore (13-15) dropped its series finale against Boston 5-3 on Sunday, salvaging one win in a three-game set after a 17-1 loss Saturday.

The Orioles have not named a starter for the opener. Right-hander Kyle Bradish, who started Sunday, is a candidate to remain on schedule. Bradish allowed three earned runs on four hits over five innings against the Red Sox, striking out three.

Right-hander Spencer Arrighetti is a player to watch for Houston. Over three starts since April 15, Arrighetti is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA, 21 strikeouts and five walks across 18 innings. He worked seven innings of one-run ball Sunday in a no-decision, striking out eight.

For Baltimore, shortstop Gunnar Henderson homered and drove in two Sunday. Catcher Samuel Basallo also homered.

Astros first baseman Christian Walker was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in Sunday’s win. Third baseman Isaac Paredes added a homer and three RBIs.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 4-3 Orioles victory. The over/under is 9.

The series continues Wednesday and Thursday before Baltimore travels to New York for four games against the Yankees. Houston heads to Boston for a three-game set beginning Friday.
